The Scholarship
John V. Mesh greatest passion, second to his own family and the Fire Department was being in the outdoor, he loved nature. While growing up, John spent countless hours in the woods with has father and older brothers learning about conservation. He had spent the past several years of his life passing along that tradition to his four daughters.
To honor John's memory and legacy, we created the John V. Mesh Memorial Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to sponsoring learning opportunities for children and scholarships for those interested in a profession within conservation.
In 2016 we established an annual fundraising event, a Sporting Clay Shoot. This annual event allows us to make donation to the Missouri Department of Conservation Discover Nature Camp for Girls in John's name. This Camp is vital to educating young Missouri females about conservation within our state.
